Recap: The John Wesley Johnson Legacy Fundraiser

On October 12, 2025, we gathered in community to honor the life and legacy of John Wesley Johnson while raising critical support for the causes closest to his heart. Hosted in partnership with the Rust College A’ Cappella Choir, the evening was more than a fundraiser—it was a celebration of culture, legacy, and impact.

An Evening of Purpose and Celebration

The evening was filled with music, connection, and heartfelt storytelling. The Rust College A’ Cappella Choir delivered a moving performance that reminded everyone of the beauty of tradition and the power of song to bring people together. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated concert while learning more about the vision behind the John Wesley Johnson Legacy Fund.

The Legacy Fund was created to continue Mr. Johnson’s work and values: uplifting the next generation through education, opportunity, and the preservation of culture.
